VietNamNet Bridge – Singer and  former supermodel Ho Ngoc Ha will be the only representative of Vietnam at the Asia Music Festival in South Korea, performing on September 19 at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.

Ha will fly to South Korea on September 13, five days early, to have sufficient time to practice with dancers.  

“Learning from the experiences of colleagues like Lam Truong, My Tam and Ho Quynh Huong, who have participated in the Asia Music Festival previously, I have prepared for this festival very early,” explained Ha.

“I will sing two new songs, My Apology and Girls’ Night in English,” she added.

The singer invited two Korean choreographers to train her during the extra week. “I’ve learned a lot from them (Korean choreographers). I know why foreign singers can make an audience go crazy. I hope that what I’ve learned will help me impress the jury and the audience,” Ha said.

This 6^th Asia Music Festival has attracted many Asian stars, including China’s Chris Lee, Hong Kong’s Ekin Cheng, South Korea’s BigBang, Super Junior and Girl’s Generation and Thailand’s K-otic.

Ha will go to South Korea with composers Duc Tri and Duong Khac Linh, as well as make-up artist Nguyen Hung and two back-up dancers. 

Upon her return, Ha will tour six provinces and cities.  Her show, “And I Have Fallen in Love,” will include nearly 20 songs.

The tour will be held at the Phan Dinh Phung Sports House, HCM City on September 27, with two guest stars Dan Truong and Dam Vinh Hung; at the Vietnam-Czech Friendship Palace in Hai Phong on September 30, with guest stars Dan Truong and Phan Dinh Tung; October 2 at the Giang Vo Exhibition Centre in Hanoi, with guest stars Quang Vinh, Anh Khoa and Tuan Hung; at the Phan Chu Trinh Sports House in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa province, with guest stars Lam Truong and Cao Thai Son; and on October 10 at the Can Tho Sports House in Can Tho City, with guest stars Nguyen Vu and Dan Truong.
